<p>Canada&#8217;s leading sports business, education and marketing professionals are once again joining forces to <strong>celebrate the best and brightest of the Canadian sports marketing industry.</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong> It is a<strong> &#8216;must-attend&#8217;</strong> within the Canadian sports marketing industry and sets the standard for<span style="text-decoration: underline;"> identifying the next generation of industry captains</span></p>
<p>Engage with Canadian sport business marketing influencers &amp; <strong>participate in the “5 to Watch” Awards</strong>. Join more than 300 of the industry’s top executives representing all facets of the sports business.</p>
<p>The announcement of George Brown College&#8217;s &#8220;5 To Watch&#8221; award winners highlighting young executives who have demonstrated significant success early in their career and are poised to become the next generation of industry leaders</p>
<p><strong>The Eligibility Criteria to apply for the 5 to watch award are :</strong></p>
<p>Candidates must be under the age of 40 years old by December 31, 2012.<br />
Candidates can only be selected from the following segments of the Sports Industry:</p>
<ul>
<li>Sports Properties</li>
<li>Amateur sport bodies including National/Provincial Sports Organizations and Educational Institutions</li>
<li>Non-editorial at Media Outlets</li>
<li>Advertisers, Licensees, Sponsors</li>
<li>Large Sports Event</li>
</ul>
<p>Candidates must work on the business side of their operation (vs. on-field performance roles like a coach or General Manager)</p>
<p><em>Ticketing. Proceeds will fund </em><em>student awards at the Centre for Business at George Brown College</em></p>
