The brewhouse is Goose Island Beer Company’s first endeavor into the Canadian brewery business. Premium beer is prepared at the state-of-the-art on-site brewery and is served from 12 taps. As you walk in, the well-lit space features modern wooden decor, complemented by rustic brickwork all throughout the venue. It also features very long bar, behind which sits seven fermentors.

Mains – Features

In the brewhouse, catch a full view of the brewery operations of head brewer Bernard Priest and his team, right from your seat. This casual, yet refined venue space has a capacity of 100 guests mingling and approximately 75 seated. It’s ideal for any social gathering such as a networking event, farewell party, or beer-paired dinner. The brewhouse also offers smaller dedicated sections for groups of 20-75. After your event, take home a Beer Growler (64oz) or Howler (32oz) of a brewed-in-house favourite! Do you have a bigger event? Book the brewhouse and Bier Markt Esplanade for a maximum of 700 guests mingling.

Sides

Enjoy al fresco dining at the Beer Garden. This outdoor space boasts a wall of homegrown hops climbing the surrounding four storeys of exposed brick. It’s an excellent space for a team building event or summer social. While enjoying craft brews paired with from-scratch cuisine, challenge a friend to Giant Jenga ® and Connect-4 ™.

Desserts – The Icing

The food menu was developed by Bier Markt Executive Chef Kevin Maniaci and Chef de Cuisine Shawn Jackson. The menu is seasonal, as the team uses fresh and local ingredients, with dishes designed to pair with the beers on tap.

This is the summer of RUM and the forecast looks Dark and Stormy. The Rum Exchange is a unique rum themed bar located in downtown Toronto. The décor is very club-ish and the venue caters mostly to the after work crowd. Throughout the week the Rum Exchange offers after work drink specials. From Monday- Friday you can enjoy $5 bar rail and house wine along with $3 domestic beer and complimentary appetizers. The high top tables in the centre of the venue are made to look like old wooden rum barrels that have been repurposed very obviously playing on the rum theme. The Rum Exchange is primarily a bar, but they do offer some small plates such as bruschetta, chicken tenders and lamb skewers.

Founder Rumen Dimitrov has a passion for all things alcohol. Not only did he open the Rum Exchange, but he is also the founder of Pravda Vodka Bar which stocks more vodka varieties than anywhere else in the city. His vision was to create the perfectbar/lounge for the after work crowd and it seems his vision has been achieved. Behind the bar is lit up in bright colours displaying the most impressive collection of rums in Toronto. Get introduced to the best and most recent rums on the market at one of the Rum Exchange’s rum tastings. They have more than 80 rums in stock so you’re guaranteed to find something that satisfies your tastes.

The Rum Exchange loves to host private and corporate functions. Scotiabank and KPMG have held their events there. The space can host anywhere between 50 and 125 people and comes fully equipped with an AV system (both screen and projector), microphone and DJ booth at no extra charge. It’s also really close to a lot of hotels which is very convenient if you’re bringing in people from out of town. For any event the Rum Exchange offers the choice between either standing or passed hors d’oeuvres that include vegetarian, seafood and meat options.

If rum is your thing or you’re simply into having a good time, be sure to check out the Rum Exchange.

The One Eighty- formerly known as Panorama Lounge- was relaunched in March 2015. There is no doubt The One Eighty is a stylish restaurant. The interior is decorated using white, black and grey decor and furnishing. The bar is striking and features a built-in DJ station.

The space offers north and south facing windows and glass balcony patios. Every guest at 180 is able to enjoy looking down onto a far-reaching unobstructed view of Toronto, unlike any other. The concept of the space is supposedly inspired by Sebastien Centner’s- the president of Eatertainment- travels around the globe. He wanted to create an environment that was fun, luxe and interactive.

The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests and also offer a private event room for 30 people. The One Eighty is located on the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre in Yorkville. There is a variety of cocktails, wines and a large selection of food. As a venue, The One Eighty has hosted a variety of events including weddings and get-togethers.

The menu was designed by Eatertainment Executive Chef Christopher Matthews who wanted to focus on comfort classics but with a twist. A unique feature about The One Eighty is their daily bar cart service. Everyday there are different items featured on the bar cart, so you’ll always be able to try something new. The items available on the cart are typically small tapas items that are reasonably priced between $5 and $8 which can be shared among everyone at the table. Cocktails are presented in bottles, for a pop-art touch. If you’ll be visiting The One Eighty soon, I recommend the rosemary maple bourbon sour.

The food and drinks are accentuated by the new contemporary and luxurious design. The venue is stylish and trendy, the food is fresh and delicious but the view is truly something you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Enjoy Toronto like you’ve never seen it before.

Last year in September the venue opened its doors to the public. The venue offers a great variety of events like electronic music or dancing, cabaret, live bands or art nights. What’s special is that you will find many local artists among them. The owners strive to make it a hub for arts and culture in Toronto.

The Round Venue can be booked for private events like corporate events or birthdays. Either you can book the whole venue or ask for a separated area you receive for your guests. Since the venue can host up to 200 people it is great for bigger events.

The Round Venue offer a great menu serving appetizers and main dishes made out of fresh and local ingredients. For the near future, the owners plan to have a general menu because so far it is just offered when an event takes place.
