The exhibit will run from June 25, 2016 all the way through until January 2, 2017 and will feature classic installations selected by Chihuly, along with pieces created exclusively for the ROM’s exhibit.

Persian Ceiling, MMFA

Chihuly has been creating colourful and mesmerizing glass installations for over 50 years. Drawing inspiration from the environment around him, his pieces are unique to each place he has visited. Over his career, Chihuly has mastered the transparent qualities of ice, water, glass and neon by creating works of art that allow viewers to be immersed into his thoughts and experiences.

The exhibit is now open, and being displayed in the Garfield Weston Exhibition Hall. Admission is free for ROM members, $29 for adults, $26.50 for students/seniors, and $21 for children (4-14 years).
