Cocktails

The brewhouse is Goose Island Beer Company’s first endeavor into the Canadian brewery business. Premium beer is prepared at the state-of-the-art on-site brewery and is served from 12 taps. As you walk in, the well-lit space features modern wooden decor, complemented by rustic brickwork all throughout the venue. It also features very long bar, behind which sits seven fermentors.

Mains – Features

In the brewhouse, catch a full view of the brewery operations of head brewer Bernard Priest and his team, right from your seat. This casual, yet refined venue space has a capacity of 100 guests mingling and approximately 75 seated. It’s ideal for any social gathering such as a networking event, farewell party, or beer-paired dinner. The brewhouse also offers smaller dedicated sections for groups of 20-75. After your event, take home a Beer Growler (64oz) or Howler (32oz) of a brewed-in-house favourite! Do you have a bigger event? Book the brewhouse and Bier Markt Esplanade for a maximum of 700 guests mingling.

Sides

Enjoy al fresco dining at the Beer Garden. This outdoor space boasts a wall of homegrown hops climbing the surrounding four storeys of exposed brick. It’s an excellent space for a team building event or summer social. While enjoying craft brews paired with from-scratch cuisine, challenge a friend to Giant Jenga ® and Connect-4 ™.

Desserts – The Icing

The food menu was developed by Bier Markt Executive Chef Kevin Maniaci and Chef de Cuisine Shawn Jackson. The menu is seasonal, as the team uses fresh and local ingredients, with dishes designed to pair with the beers on tap.

On Thursday, May 11tth, the Spirit of York Distillery Co. will open to the public offering their unique bottles of vodka and gin premium spirits. The small batches are being created using fresh spring water in stainless steel tanks using only locally-sourced ingredients.

The space is perfect for events. There is a large bar featured as the room’s centerpiece, with a three-tiered hydroponic fresh herb garden directly above it as well as a wall of botanicals and dried herbs used to infuse their spirits. A specialty bitters bar is ideal for interactive demonstrations, mixology training, innovation, and education for others who are as passionate about spirits as Spirit of York Co. is.

There are also other rooms perfect for private dining and Team building here is a unique idea for your team.

The space fits up to 150 people and has maintained the historic features of brick and beam from the original roots of Toronto’s distillery hub. Like many historic spaces, the venue has achieved a great mix of old and modern, with the lighting design and layout being a key feature. The Spirit of York Co. has brought back the art of distilling to the historic Distillery District with this contemporary ‘Spirits Hub’.

The Spirit of York will be exclusively available at their new location. But, keep your watch for their concoctions in the LCBO in the future. Perhaps at specialty cocktail bars, we can hope…

CRAFT Beer Market, a premium casual restaurant with one of the largest selections of craft beer in Canada launched back in Calgary in 2011 by owner PJ L’Heureux and has been taking Canadian cities by storm – “one beer, one meal and one experience at a time”.

This year, Torontonians are getting a new addition to the booming beer scene as CRAFT plans to open a new Toronto location right at Yonge & Adelaide that features over 160 draught beers, premium selections of different wines and spirits and a menu specializing in North American Cuisine.

What is the result of one of the best chefs in the world, plus one of the greatest rappers of today? The result is … Frings!.

Susur Lee’s IS the chef and owner and Drake is a keen partner.Frings has become one of the most talked about and respected restaurants in Toronto. The menu may be regarded as a mixture of Europe, United States and a major influence from Asia, so it suit all tastes.

Some people say that the Frings name comes from a sauce made of ketchup and mayo. Now according to the restaurant staff, Frings is a state of mind, whatever the meaning is get a reservation there as it is not easy but worth it.
At the sound of classic R&B, enjoy it drinking drinks like the mojito coconut made ??by Sailor Jerry’s spiced rum , Malibu coconut rum, coconut milk , lime juice and mint. Let’s talk about food, the dishes are incredibly elaborate as Sweet and Sour Meatballs, topped with parmesan and bread crumbs, delicious!!

On Friday, Aug 12, CityEvents hosted the last Schmooze of summer 2016. It’s true what they say, you always save the best for last! The blue and white lantern garden theme set a nice mood, transforming the patio yet again for a magical getaway from city life.

Although the forecast called for rain all week leading up to the event, Schmooze was a fighting-force and cleared the skies just in time for 5 p.m. when the doors opened! Guests enjoyed the heat, celebrating on the rooftop patio while sipping on cocktails crafted by drink sponsor Grey Goose. The cocktails were made of Grey Goose Vodka, with a splash of St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, topped off with club soda, and served with a lime. It was a hit, and the perfect way to keep cool on the heat.

To say the food was good would be an understatement. Guests swarmed the food station eagerly awaiting the feast served by Treeline Catering. The tacos which consisted of a corn coleslaw, seasoned ground pork, and crispy onion, topped with a chipotle mayo. And as if those weren’t enough, there was also barbecued corn on the cob seasoned with butter and spices.

The patio was filled with happy Schmoozers enjoying the last few weeks of summer. DJ Spence Diamonds had the music blasting throughout the night which kept everyone happy and dancing.

The simulator is a stationary Harley-Davidson motorcycle, fitted to a Jump Start stand where attendees were able to sit on the bike and feel the power as they revved its engine. Even the most inexperienced of riders were able to take part in the fun.

Open just till September, 1903 Cafe gives Harley enthusiasts a look into the rich history of the company by showcasing an extensive lineup of bikes, tools and branded gear. 1903 Cafe aims to bring bike lovers from far-and-wide to enjoy the memorabilia, fresh coffee and great conversation. The Harley-Davidson Cafe is a Canadian concept and the first of its kind in the world.

After a pour of one of their freshly made coffees, provided by Toronto’s Fahrenheit Coffee, the Harley-Davidson’s won’t be the only thing speeding off into the sunset.

The space is available for special events and can fit up to 350 people and currently has long, communal bench seating with a few lounge areas.
