The top gaming nights and events in Toronto cater to game lovers of every type – from the board game aficionados to the console addicts to the casino lovers. Even if you just want to drink a ton of cheap beer and play the video games you loved when you were 11, Toronto’s bars, game spaces and casinos can get you out of the basement and into a fun, vibrant social setting. By looking as best online casino reviews, many people enjoy playing video games as well trying their luck at slot machines at these kinds of events.
If you don’t want to wait for games night to happen, Toronto has plenty of places to play board games at your leisure – and there are tons of locally-designed video games you can test out during solo gaming time. Sometimes, though, you just want to go where the party is. Here are the top gaming nights and events in Toronto.

1. Games With Friends at Bento Miso
Every other Monday, gamers gather at the Bento Miso co-working space to break out any and all games that fit their fancy – indie video games projected on the wall, strategy-based card games, classic console games. They even encourage local developers to bring whatever they’ve been working on for a group playtest. Games With Friends scores big for not only welcoming all kinds of games (and gamers), but for their promise of pizza. Delicious, delicious pizza.

2. Nintendo Knights at Handlebar
Kensington Market’s Handlebar spends a lot of their evenings hosting live music, but one glorious night every month, they set up the N64, select a cartridge from their collection, hold big-screen tournaments on the projector, and then host live music from occasion-appropriate electro and chiptune acts.

3. Game Meets at Holy Oak Café
Clearly, Wednesday night’s all night for gaming. This Bloor and Lansdowne cafe hosts recurring game nights on the first and second Wednesday of every month; bring a game or try out one of theirs while enjoying some alcoholic libations.

4. Dueling Grounds
Are miniatures, card games and pen-and-paper RPGs your jam? Then head on over to this hobby games store near Bloor and Lansdowne, where they host tabletop game
nights of various kinds (including Warhammer, D&D and Magic) every Wednesday through Sunday.

5. A&C World
The games rage ever on and on at this space, an offshoot of A&C Games at Bloor and Spadina. The $5 entrance fee ($10 on tournament days) gets you access to retro consoles like Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, modern-day systems like Xbox 360, and arcade games like Street Fighter II and Bust-A-Move. Follow their Twitter account for updates, where they frequently utter magic words like “Super Smash Bros. Melee weekly tournament”.

6. WAbar
On the other end of the gaming-intensity scale, you’ll find this Asian-influenced sports bar near Yonge and Isabella. In addition to a series of TVs showing sports games, an incredibly well-stocked bar and a menu of Korean (by way of the deep fryer) snacks, there’s a SNES always available for Mario Kart and Street Fighter tournaments. There are also multiple beer pong tables – that counts as gaming, right?

Best Toronto Casinos

Toronto area casinos are places where hope springs eternal. Whether you want to trek out to Niagara Falls to place your bets, or stay within city limits, there are plenty of casinos not too far from home. Remember your four-leaf clovers, rabbit’s feet, horseshoes and pray that you save (or win) your rent money. Here, in no particular order, according to OCC (official site) – the leading online casinos review portal, are the best picks for the top casinos in and around Toronto.

1.    The Ex
If you want to get in on the casino action, but don’t feel like making a trip outside the city, head to The Ex. The annual CNE casino offers blackjack, roulette, WAR, Spanish 21, 3-card poker, Texas hold ‘em and more. Unfortunately, it’s only open for a short stint of about a month every summer. Check their website for this years’ dates and plan accordingly.

2.    Casino Rama
You’ll have to travel about two hours from the city to get to Casino Rama, but it’s well worth the drive. This gambling hub boasts a number of table games to choose from (everything from craps to blackjack), over 2500 slot machines, and live performances happening on an almost nightly basis.

3.    Fallsview Casino
Niagara is a well-loved destination for casino enthusiasts for good reason. Fallsview flaunts over 20 table games, more than 3,000 slots, and million-dollar jackpot. It’s also an entertainment destination, hosting over 250 shows a year with big name performers like ZZ Top and Tony Bennett.

4.    Casino Niagara
Casino Niagara is another tried and true spot in Niagara for those with a passion for poker. The casino offers tons of gaming options, including 1,300 slots and 10 table games, multi-sport wagering, and live entertainment. A bonus, they offer free live music on Friday and Saturday, which is great if you can’t afford a paid performance after one too many rounds of blackjack.

5.    Great Blue Heron Casino
Looking to satisfy your craving for card-playing around Scugog? Great Blue Heron offers a ton of table games and the regular roster of slot machines. You can book your seat online if you want to take part in one of their many poker tournaments.

A question frequently asked by quora members is whether they should play in online casinos or in real ones. In the end, it really depends on personal choice which type of casino you prefer, but here are some things to consider which may help you make up your mind. Online casinos have become a popular replacement for land based casinos. Each of these casino locations offer different benefits, but players will find that online casinos usually make the best choice for accessing cash games and always having access to the casino services.

Most players who have played in an online casino have visited a land casino at one point. Land casinos are great places to play cash casino games and enjoy a thrilling gambling experience. However, these locations are not always easily accessible and many players will find they do not wish to travel the distance for their gambling needs. Enter online casinos. Online casinos are a perfect solution for those players that do not have access to a land casino. These sites offer great convenience and since they are always open, players can access their favorite games at any time and play for real cash winnings.
