Join this years ROM Young Patron’s Circle (YPC) event Forbidden City: Inside the Court of China ‘s Emperors, is presented by The Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation
Step into the inner courts of the Forbidden City at the ROM on Saturday, March 29, 2014 for their annual fundraising event in support of Canada’s world museum. Inspired by the ROM’s Centennial exhibition, Forbidden PROM will be an unforgettable night of live entertainment and dancing, alluring activities, gourmet fare and tempting lounge areas.
PROM is one if the Toronto’s most anticipated events and generates significant excitement in the community with almost 1000 people in attendance.
YPC provides museum enthusiasts with unique educational, cultural and networking opportunities at the ROM. Members enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences and exclusive access to exhibitions, galleries, curators, vaults and private collections across North America.
Party Tickets include cocktails and gourmet treats, special activities, live entertainment and dancing to the tunes of DJ Rory Them Finest.

EFS, which stands for Everything’s For Sale, is a nightspot, featuring a 3,000-square-foot rooftop patio, one of the best in the city. This rooftop has a cabana-style bar and lounge with cocktails and hookah for each section. It is located on King West and it is a perfect place for young professionals to go and have a couple of drinks after work or spend an evening.

It provides pub foods, including cheese burgers and drinks, featuring summery cocktails such as mojitos and sangria. As another feature of this lounge which stands out is it offers you 7 different flavours of hookah tobacco as well for the Hookah.
This venue is a great destination to chill out and have drinks, especially in summer. This space is great for product launches, celebrations and other private and corporate events. The patio is a great spot and the venue could be quite versatile.

The SEDI Awards were created in 2004 to celebrate the inspiring achievements of SEDI’s partners and the people they serve. The Awards are a unique opportunity to support and celebrate transformational changes taking place in communities and in the lives of real people.

People who have left homelessness behind and built a stronger economic future for themselves with the help of SEDI’s Independent Living Account program
Passionate, committed community workers across Canada who are using the financial literacy education training they received from SEDI to transform their communities.
Individuals, groups/organizations or governments that have made an important contribution to expanding economic opportunity for low-income people – provincially or Canada-wide – through policy and/or program innovation.

SEDI Awards Gala Dinner
On March, SEDI has continued to inspire by hosting its sixth SEDI Awards Gala dinner in Toronto. This reception and dinner brought together more than 400 community, business and government leaders to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of SEDI’s many partners and program participants in expanding economic opportunity for low-income Canadians.
