Earlier in June, strategist Robert Murray provided CEOs and CFOs with the tools needed to engage and inspire their teams to execute business plans with ownership and enthusiasm. This event was part of the Managing for Growth Series: Simple Strategy – Simply Said, hosted by Hogg Shain & Scheck (HSS) Accounting Firm.
It was an incredible morning learning experience, and many business owners came away with a number of notes and tips. The guests were able to learn more about Robert Murray’s experiences and it was is relevant to understand the chaos and confusion that we find ourselves leading business in today where competitors can be unconventional and how sometimes having a simple strategy everyone can understand can assist with the culture and communications of a firm.
Check out some photos of this wonderful seminar below.

Dumplings Galore: Lovers of food and wine will be glad to discover the opening menu at Saucy Pierogi which offers seven different types of dumplings featuring fillings like cheddar and potato, spinach and feta, jerk chicken and pulled pork. Each order is portioned in trios for $5 to $6 in order to encourage sampling a variety.
“Located in Dundas West address, this Polish restaurant, offers traditional food in warm atmosphere thanks to the marble bar and framed photos of Polish street art.”
The Saucy’s Pierogi bar offers a variety of cocktails like the Bramble, a blend of gin, cassis and lime and also a different selection of piwo (beer).
Food’s lovers will be glad to try traditional items at their home thanks to small to-go section where customers can purchase bags of frozen pierogies, beet horseradish, soup, and a selection of Polish products (pastry and chocolate bars, pickles, pastry and chocolate bars, pretzels).

The Rosé Picnic, the new summer tradition!

The Rose picnic’s doors were officially opened at noon on July 22nd. For this first edition, the Rose Picnic surpassed our high expectations.
The Inaugural Rose Picnic took over the beautiful grounds of Fort York in downtown Toronto; with its pink blankets everywhere, music planning, and picnic baskets with tasty snacks!
It was a memorable interactive picnic with a summer festival vibe! Despite the fickle weather, the staff did excellent job, and everything ran smoothly.
The good vibes of the event outweighed the imperfect weather, thanks to the fresh beverage, the laugh of the people enjoying their time, the music and the tasty food.
The people had enjoyed the performances of the talented piano artist, David Johanns, while sipping on a delicious glass of Rose.
It was the perfect event to enjoy a good time with your friends as well as meet new people. Toronto’s first ever Rose picnic was a success and we are definitely hoping it becomes an annual event.
