The Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South building was renovated!

Staeters
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is Canada’s number one convention and trade show facility. Over 18,000 events have been hosted, more than 55 million guests were entertained there and $5.1 billion has been added in direct spending to the community.

Cocktails
After the end of the recent renovation of the north building, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre announced a $23 million project to renovate the south building.

Mains
MTCC offers seven exhibition halls totaling 460,000 square feet, 70 meeting rooms totaling 110,400 square feet, two ballrooms totaling 78,000 square feet, and a 1,232-seat theatre. This modification will create 10 new meeting rooms with 13,000 square feet of additional space, registration areas will be redesigned as well as the interior. The MTCC has 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2) of space. Their larger room is 250,000 sq ft , can be divided into sections of four small rooms and can fit up to 1327 people.

Sides
There will be new escalators, new service elevator and Wi-Fi capabilities will be improved. They will also update the lighting and a revamped cafe space will be created.

Located in the Financial District, Assembly Chef’s Hall is an eatery that serves a selection of 18 different menus from restaurants of some of Toronto’s prime chefs. Explore a diverse range of menus offering quality cuisines from around the world, under one roof.

Pick 6ix, Hot Spot in the 6ix

Starters
Have you heard of Toronto artist Drake’s newest restaurant in town? Located right in the heart of the city, Pick 6ix is the newest hot spot in town.

Cocktails
This venue is where our very own artist hosts his private parties with celebrities; NBA superstars, OVO crew etc. How amazing is the opportunity to host your event in the same venue Drake likes to host his own. At Pick 6ix you’re sure to often see the crowd order bottles of wine but when dinner time comes, you get to see all the fabulous cocktails. The Black Widow is the top-selling cocktail, made with Drake’s Virginia Black whiskey.

Mains
Pick 6ix is the place to enjoy top quality drinks and food while being in an atmosphere that has a mix of an upscale lounge or dinner and a sports bar. Without forgetting that they offer healthy high-end dishes and lots of sashimi and sushi.

The restaurant features a 2,100-square-foot open concept with a glass enclose that slides down by the simple touch of a button. Once the glass ceiling is opened it creates a great open patio environment. (See picture below.)

Side 
The venue has three private rooms, two of them can be combined and let’s not forget that anyone can have access to Drake’s personal room with a private entrance when he’s not around.

Dessert
The resto lounge space has a permanent DJ station for your next event. Although Pick 6ix is a high class venue, they host SIX DEGREES, a social media series by E! Stay tuned as the series discusses everything from sports to the hottest topics in pop culture.
Pick 6ix’s operation hours are Monday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. which is great as not a lot of restaurants in the city are open late nights.

Capacity
The restaurant seats 178, with an outdoor terrace accommodating up to 100 guests.

Straters
Kelly’s Landing Bar Grill Hub is a beautiful designed space located in the core of Downtown, they welcome guests with enjoyable food and drinks.

Cocktails
At Kelly’s Landing, they offer a wide variety of drinks. You have over 25 beers to choose from at the bar. You will not only find your usual but some of the best beers from countries like Mexico, Germany, Italy, the U.S. and even Denmark.

Their Instagram popular cocktail, the Kelly’s Caesar is like no other. They added their own touch to this known cocktail by adding a slice of pizza, lobster, fruits and a bunch of appetizing sides. It’s not comparable to the regular Caesar cocktail that usually only comes with a celery stick and olives.

Mains
The venue has a rich menu sectioned off into share plates, pizza, salads, burgers, sandwiches, mains and desserts. It’s the perfect place to go with coworkers and friends to share and try new dishes.

The venue can welcome about 373 guests ; the main dining room seats 200 guests, while the North and South patio together seat 70, the solarium also seats 70, finally the bar seats 33 guests.

Sides
It’s the perfect place to go down for lunch, after work or to simply watch a game on their big screens. The modern and classic atmosphere makes everything enjoyable. Without forgetting their staff, who are very friendly, fun and experts in making guests’ experience memorable.

Dessert
Kelly’s Landing operation hours are Sunday to Wednesday from 11am to 12am and the hours change to 11am to 1am on busy nights like Thursday to Sunday.
