The boxcar harbourfront opened in 2016. The Boxcar is located in the Harbourfront Centre, on Toronto’s waterfront. The Harbourfront is an innovative not-for-profit cultural organization that creates events and activities of excellence that enliven, educate and entertain a diverse public. You can find restaurants and coffee shops, it’s a great place to stay.


The boxcar is a coffee shop they offer pastries, breakfast, charcuteries, lunch and dinner food,  also you can find good wines, beers or whiskeys for the lovers of spirits.

There is a huge picnic and wine festival coming to Fort York this Summer! July 22th, The Rosé Picnic is going to be filled with delectable food, lively entertainment, and, of course, everyone’s favorite pink drink. From noon – 6 PM, Fort York will be transformed into a sea of Rosé! Guests have to be dressed in the Pink or White “summer chic” dress code!

The event will be pouring Hogwash Rosé wine from Napa, Rosé Champagne, vodka and pink cocktails including a variety of delicious juices and sparkling water. The Rosé Picnic is not only pink drinks but there are also plenty of exciting musical performances and exclusive VIP experiences available as well as summer activities, games, and experiences.

The famous Chef Mark McEwan, judge in Top Chef Canada will be a special guest during this event will be crafting some undeniably delicious Picnic Baskets, available for preorder on their website. They will also have all of Mark’s restaurants serving food on site including North 44, ByMark, One and Fabbrica! As well as free samples from other vendors of ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy and more.

About the pricing, it’s $70/person and $5000 for private cabana area with food, beverage, table service and multiple tickets included. VIP experience ranging from $125 – $5000 and VIP tables ranging from $1500 – $5000.

The Rosé Picnic will quickly become a favorite summer tradition!

Trinity Bellwoods Movie Night

Join the Trinity Bellwoods BIA for a FREE outdoor movie night in the dog bowl atTrinity Bellwoods Park! A series of animated short films from the National Film Board of Canada will be screened starting at DUSK. The animated shorts are from the “Best of the Best: Especially for Kids” series, and include Every Child, The Tender Tale of Cinderella Penguin, Blackfly, The Cat Came Back, Sand Castle, The Owl Whom Married A Goose, Evolution, Christmas Cracker and Monsieur Pointu.
