First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came out to the In-N-Out Burger Pop-up at Ganzi Osteria. It was a great success and we are honored to have been a part of such an exciting event. Thank you to the entire team at In-N-Out, the fabulous crew at Ganzi Osteria and the CityEvents staff for making it a big hit.
Here at CityEvents, we’re huge fans of In-N-Out Burger and having an opportunity to bring the famous Double Double® to Toronto, if only for a bit, was a blast for us. I can see why In-N-Out Burger is so popular, not only are the burgers awesome but the staff that travelled to Toronto were friendly ambassadors. They worked well with the onsite team and you could see they wanted to ensure the best product possible was served to Torontonians. I could tell they were impressed with the excitement in Toronto around their Pop-up.
Over the course of the day, we had hundreds, upon hundreds of loyal fans waiting in line, eager to get a taste of In-N-Out. We were so excited to see that In-N-Out’s earliest fan, actually arrived at 6:30 A.M (now that’s a true fan).
The excitement didn’t end with just the fans, but the media showed up, from around the city to get a shot of the event. Not only did In-N-Out burger cause a social media frenzy here in Toronto, they were trending on Twitter. It’s safe to say, In-N-Out Burger was the talk of the town for a few days and I’m sure Toronto would welcome them back.
For some, this was an opportunity to re-experience a restaurant they’ve loved for years, or for others, it was a chance to taste a bit of the magic that has made In-N-Out a household name. All in all, Toronto definitely showed that we love In-N-Out, just as much as we love Tim Hortons.
Overall it was an exciting day and during all of the excitement inside while people tasted the famous In and Out Burger Deb Lewis from CityEvents and Dan from Ganzi were speaking to the media about this one day Pop Up.
A few media mentions include: This interview with SunTV and article in National Post .
Stay tuned for more photos of the event next week in our newsletter.
