Cineplex theatres have been around for a long time. What is even more impressive is that in the past few years they seem to have taken over all other theatres making them available no matter where you are. With added benefits like Scene Cards which allow you to collect points for watching movies and even offer discounts at concession stands, there is incentive for users to keep returning to Cineplex theatres. What you may not have thought about however is the benefit this company can have for you as an event planner or company who needs to schedule meetings or events across the country.
For starters, Cineplex theatres include audio-visual equipment, food, beverage and even party packages including arcade games for a younger demographic. None of these extras need to be brought in which saves time and money.
Secondly, with the additions of the VIP cinemas that have been opening up across the country, there are additional venues, which cater to a more sophisticated demographic and more formal event. These venues even include their own bars and lounges with food and drink service. But the service doesn’t end in the common area because the new auditoriums include spacious leather seats and menus with seat service available. These theatres also include private upgraded washrooms to keep the experience consistent.
From one side of the country to the other, Cineplex operates 163 theatres in Canada with 1,666 screens. Serving approximately 77 million guests annually through many theatre brands like Cineplex Odeon, Cineplex VIP Cinemas and Scotiabank Theatres, it’s not always a visual movie experience that you go for. The theatre spaces that Cineplex offers can be used for other gatherings including corporate meetings, seminars and receptions catering to larger groups.
Depending on the theatre size, you can typically have up to 579 people in one theatre.
You can reach the right target audience using the right strategies when dealing with theatre rentals, as it’s always an intriguing venue space. With all of these alternative options to what a Cineplex theatre can offer, it makes planning your next gathering that much easier.
