Engines were roaring and barbecue was smoking as guests poured into 1903 Cafe, Toronto’s Harley-Davidson cafe. The grand opening of the cafe was supported by numerous open-bars, complimentary barbecue, a DJ and a JumpStart Rider Simulator.

The simulator is a stationary Harley-Davidson motorcycle, fitted to a Jump Start stand where attendees were able to sit on the bike and feel the power as they revved its engine. Even the most inexperienced of riders were able to take part in the fun.

Open just till September, 1903 Cafe gives Harley enthusiasts a look into the rich history of the company by showcasing an extensive lineup of bikes, tools and branded gear. 1903 Cafe aims to bring bike lovers from far-and-wide to enjoy the memorabilia, fresh coffee and great conversation.  The Harley-Davidson Cafe is a Canadian concept and the first of its kind in the world.

After a pour of one of their freshly made coffees, provided by Toronto’s Fahrenheit Coffee, the Harley-Davidson’s won’t be the only thing speeding off into the sunset.

The space is available for special events and can fit up to 350 people and currently has long, communal bench seating with a few lounge areas.

Schmooze just keeps getting better and better! This past Friday’s event was a huge success with over 200 people in attendance. The rooftop was transformed into a colourful, lantern decorated garden, complete with flowers and balloons giving the patio the perfect summer feel.

27761950656_9a78c36458_zMiller Genuine Draft sponsored the event providing complimentary drinks to guests who arrived before 6:30 p.m., which was the perfect start to the night. The sun was shining bright and warm, making the snow-cone machine a massive hit. Guests were also treated to complimentary barbecue courtesy of Treeline Catering, which included sliders and skewers. A new addition to this Schmooze event was the classic party game of beer pong, set up to the right of the bar. The game was played by many guests, and even created a spectator gathering.
