Nota Bene opened in August 2008 and was quickly named “best new restaurant” by both Toronto Life and enRoute Magazine.
The Award winning Executive Chef David Lee uses local and seasonal ingredients. Formerly of Splendido and The Carbon Bar, he has moved over to create incredible menus at Nota Bene. The restaurant is 7,000 square feet and located at the corner of Queen and University streets making it easily accessible by TTC and a short walk from the Financial District.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is worth noting. Nota Bene was designed by KPMB Architects which is one of Canada’s top architectural firms- and you can see why. Despite the precision and square angles, the space is very comfortable and inviting.
Nota Bene offers a high-end venue for your private event. The space can accommodate a business meeting for 12 guests or a cocktail reception for up to 200 guests. Nota Bene is a perfect venue and will customize every detail to suit your needs, their in house planner ensures the success of your next planned event. In addition, you have the choice between their semi private dining room or main dining room depending on your group.
Capacity:
Semi-private dining room can accommodate up to 36 people
Main dining room up to 200 people.
The menu features unique items such as a bresaola and fig salad and their Cumbrae Farms beef banquet burger. Chef Lee’s creative spin on Canadiana food is featured by the unique plating of each dish. If you’re group is looking for a high-quality meal in Toronto or a venue for your next event, look no further than Nota Bene.
