The Canadian Helen Kellar Centre which provides Services for the Deaf-Blind Community hosted the Twelfth Annual Awards Luncheon. Sponsored by The Canadian Foundation for Physical Disabled Persons (CFPDP) Their efforts to assist the hearing and visually impaired within the community were recognized and awarded this year in 2016 as the event honoured York University.
Guest speaker was Laura Dottori-Attanasio the Senior Executive V.P for CIBC. Laura is involved in many not-for-profit organizations and is passionate about bettering the lives of the disabled in the community.
