Toronto, ON –July 10, 2012 – The Toronto King Street East neighbourhood is recognized in the global marketplace as a hotbed for innovation and design. Welcome to the King East Design District, where you will find the finest collection of design outlets in Toronto. Not only will it leave you with inspiration for design, but will allow you to help our charity partner Habitat for Humanity Toronto.
This weekend long event will combine various aspects of design found in the city of Toronto. The event takes place on King Street East and in the Distillery District. The exhibition will allow the opportunity to explore all things decadent from furniture, accessories, cars, food, wine and dining.
How will this exhibition work? Attendees will have the opportunity to obtain a passport by making a $10 donation to Habitat for Humanity Toronto which can lead to fabulous prizes. This passport will record your journey to the various showrooms that will feature unique interactive and educational experiences.

ONEXONE: The Diesel Fashion Show “WALK THE ONEWAY.”

A Diesel Celebrity Fashion Show, titled “WALK THE ONEWAY”, was presented on Thursday, August 16th at CUBE by Onexone and One Up jointly to support the Onexone Pediatric Wing at the new National Teaching Hospital in Mirebalais, Haiti. Glen Baxter, a renowned journalist of CTV, hosted the event. A number of world class Canadian celebrities participated in that event. CityEvents was there to support the great cause and cover the event. It was great to see so many guests having a great time and amazing turn out for a mid summer event. Lovely to see some of ONEXONE originally Toronto supporters Ed and Suzanne Rogers in attendance with Glenn and David Dixon.
The event was appreciated by many of the gorgeously dressed actors and actresses. These popular celebrities also participated in the fashion show. Among them Miss Universe Canada 2010, Elena Semikina, who looked fab. The famous Being Human actress, Natalie Brown, had been the greatest surprise at the event for many of her fans. Sangita Patel, a weather specialist of City TV was also present there. Among the Television personalities Jacqui Skeete from popular Oh So Cosmo loved the occasion too. A limited number of tickets were available only at a cost of $40. One of my fav local breweries Hogtown Breweries were a sponsor of the night. www.hogtownbrewers.ca/
Onexone has dedicated their whole life towards fulfilling some of their founding goals which mainly comprise of five fundamental pillars of our day to day life: water, health, education, play and food. Their latent dream has led them to that past event and they have also planned to arrange such events in future. Toronto Dating Experts take on a new approach to Singles Events
Toronto, ON-July 29, 2012. Shannon Tebb, also known as Shanny in the City is a Toronto Dating Expert that holds monthly singles events in the Toronto area with partner Gary T. Wilson of Eligible Social Club.
This duo has taken on a new approach to singles events by staying focused on what singles attending events really want-creating themed based events. Singles events can be discouraging for those trying to enter back into the dating scene. Its patio is strictly Miami South Beach cool. With southern and western exposures within this unique walking district, the Boiler House patio offers affordable luxury and a very memorable experience.
This “Screwed” themed event will involve equal distribution of nuts and bolts handed out to men and women. If the nut and bolt fits then it is a possible “real” match and the duo get’s a free cocktail! The classic screwdriver acts as a complimentary drink feature along with fantastic door prizes. Search and Social Rank Symposium made a huge splash in marketing at the Boiler House on April 16th !
Due to the public’s insatiable curiosity for more insight into the weird science at the intersection of social media marketing and search engine optimization, there was a third Search and Social Rank Symposium held at The Boiler House restaurant on Monday, April 16th, in the Distillery District of Toronto. Presentations and discussions illustrated the intricacies of social media marketing, while featuring expert guest speakers Rob Campbell, Alex Blom and Brad Gosse.
Search and Social Rank Symposium created the perfect opportunity to build valuable relationships with business professionals, while guests learned the necessary skills to market your business online like a pro!
The event featured presentations by leading industry professionals, followed by a question and answer session, and networking opportunities. “simply divas” returns for it’s 7th successful year!
Millions of Canadians suffer from mental illnesses, it effects people’s day-to-day living, and can effect what and how they think, act and perceive things. We as Canadians must do everything we can to make sure we are supporting this wonderful cause in a fun and positive way. FAME (Family Association for Mental Illness Everywhere) is a community-based charitable organization which for over 20 years has proudly supported families and caregivers of those experiencing mental illness.
On Sunday, April 29th, The Family Association for Mental Health Everywhere (FAME) proudly announced that simply divas returned for its annual fundraising event! It was a showcase of outstanding musical entertainment and culinary delights, and this year would feature a tribute to the legendary diva herself, Tina Turner! Simply Divas is FAME’s leading fundraiser and with the continuous generous contributions from Canadians, it would continue to be.
