A midtown event venue popular for social events Rosehill Venue Lounge offers a casual ambiance in the Rosedale and Summerhill area of Toronto, just south of Yonge Street & St. Clair Avenue. This venue is the “hidden gem” of special event venues in Toronto, with the ability to transform itself to suit almost any event need. Think of it as a Swiss knife for a venue and its versatility to convert for any event.
The space is great for a group around 100 and has a great kitchen for the chef’s to work out of but can grow to over 350. You can fit a dance floor with seated dinner if you have this size group, the space doesn’t feel overwhelmingly large or small-just comfortable. The ambiance is really nice with the exposed ceilings, brick walls, laminate/brick floor, and sofas in the lounge area and looks beautiful at night lit up by candles. Rosehill is perfect to have a dance floor, stage or focal point but also a casual lounge area.
The venue offers its clients the personalized service each distinct event requires. The staff is always on-the-ball and very friendly. From your first meeting, through the planning process, to the date of your event Rosehill can offer as much support as you require. It is steps from the subway and located next to a Green P parking lot. If you’re looking for a space that’s a little different, easy to get to from downtown, and not a banquet hall, check it out www.rosehillevents.ca

CityEvents is very proud to share that we have been featured in the SNAP downtown Toronto website and newspaper. The featured article was written about the Liberty Social Hour event held at Locus 144.The photo’s and videos of Fastlane have also been featured in the same month. The photos, articles and videos were featured and shared with the public. We couldn’t have been prouder.
FastLane offers a unique approach to connecting urban professionals in a variety of industries. Professionals can meet new people; trade tips and make beneficial contacts while unwinding in a relaxing environment.
Liberty Social Hour will give local residents and businesses a chance to experience the potential of Liberty Village at different venues while interacting with their community. It’s the perfect opportunity to create valuable relationships while exchanging and sharing ideas and opinions concerning the life and work in Liberty Village. Enjoy one of the many beautiful venues that Liberty Village has to offer.

Liberty Social Hour – Le Bel Été
Located minutes away from the chaotic streets of the downtown core, Liberty Village is an emerging community just west of downtown for businesses and residents. CityEvents and InLibertyVillage.com hosted one of many Liberty Social Hour events which enable locals to meet and mingle with each other. Locus 144, located in The Liberty Market, held a successful community networking event showcasing their unique dinner menu and spirits lists. The ambience of Locus144 is very soothing, a great place to unwind and submerge yourself into the warm and cozy colour pallets of the decor. Lights were dimmed to perfection and the music just loud enough so people could still talk. Locus also invited a local classic/pop singer to add some flavour to the already vibrant event and Lucia (singer) sang for a set before the D.J took over playing into the late hours on a beautiful summer evening. Meeting At The Hoxton – An Event Planners Dream
October 31, 2011 by CityEvents

The Hoxton is the latest venture by business partners Jesse Girard and Richard Lambert, – and comedian Kenny Hotz – the guys behind Parts & Labour and The Social. The venue is named after London’s Hoxton neighbourhood and is located in Toronto’s hip King West area steps from the Thompson Hotel.
The Hoxton highlights include a great stage area, state of the art sound system making the acoustics phenomenal, and a 8,000 sq. ft. space that can hold up to 600 people. The main idea was to keep the space versatile, with lack of excessive décor and the large number of installed flat screens it is an event planners dream. The Hoxton allows customized decor and can accommodate the bells and whistles for whatever event the venue is hosting, whether it is corporate or private bookings.
In just over a month the Hoxton has played host for events celebrating TIFF, Fashion Week, store launches, and this week is their first large scale fundraiser “Fireball” (www.sheenasplace.com/fireball)
Expect The Hoxton to be a crowd and corporate pleaser. http://www.thehoxton.ca and @the_Hoxton

The British Canadian Chamber of Trade and Commerce held their 60th Anniversary Reception on October 28th 2011. It was one of the must attend events of the year. The highly respected U.K High Commissioner to Canada Dr. Andrew Pocock attended the event. He was escorted in the room by a British bagpipe player, making the event more unique than ever.
The entertainment of the night was a special cultural fashion show and a jazz band. The hors d’oeuvres, music, people and ambiance made it a night to remember. The event was held in the luxurious Novotel Hotel in downtown Toronto.
