St. Patrick’s Day is known as an event that is associated with the colour green, shamrocks, luck and anything Irish. This year St. Patrick’s Day is on Monday March 17th 2014. St. Patrick’s Day Parade-Sunday March 16th 2014
The annual St Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 12PM on Sunday March 16th 2014 at St. George and Bloor. The Parade will continue along Bloor Street down Yonge Street and finishes on Queen Street at Nathan Philips Square. The parade features entertaining floats, bands, dancers and marching groups from Toronto’s Irish and multicultural community. This year’s Grand Marshal is Irish boxer Katie Taylor who is the reigning Olympic, World, European and Irish Champion. For more information, go to

Achilles St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/Walk- March 16th, 2014
The 15th anniversary Archilles St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/Walk through the heart of Downtown Toronto is on Sunday March 16th, 2014. The race starts at 10:15 AM at 255 Bremner Blvd,Toronto outside of Steam Whistle Brewery @ the Roundhouse.
