Win Tuition Costs in Aveda Hair School Scholarship Video Contest
Aveda is world-renowned for its top-notch stylists, eco-friendly cosmetics and styling products and environmentally and socially-aware business practices.
Were you born to style? Are you a trendsetter who dreams of working in the beauty and fashion industry? There’s always work–movie actors to be made-up, celebrities to be styled, fashion shows to jet to–and stylists often top surveys about job satisfaction. You may opt to move to a foreign locale to work, or open your own salon–whatever you do, an Aveda graduate has a head start in his or her field in terms of skills and reputation.
To enter the hair school scholarship contest: Submit a 2-minute video that shows why you were ‘Born to Style’. Get creative and showcase your people skills, charisma and artistic vision. Four talented winners will receive full scholarships (each at $10 K value or more), one for each of the following colleges: Aveda Institute Calgary, Aveda Institute Toronto, Aveda Institute Vancouver and Aveda Institute Victoria.

CityEvents’ Holiday Soiree was a great way to celebrate the Holiday Season. Deb Lewis and CityEvents hosted the event at one of Toronto’s Hot New Lounges! Nothing says Christmas to us like a good old, joyful Christmas Soiree with all our friends and contacts!
We thought about having an intimate time with all of our clients, supporters, partners and friends there to celebrate the festive season with us. And it sure was.
It was the season for great food and gifts, christmas hats and a fun filled night at CityEvents by Deb Lewis’ Holiday Party!
The event was not complete without a DJ, free light snacks and tasty Heineken/Molson beer. Next year’s event promises to be even to be better.
